SMSF Lending
Investing in property through a Self-Managed Super Fund
The Superannuation Industry Supervision Act 1993 (Cth) allows superannuation funds to
borrow in order to invest in direct property or shares, subject to certain strict conditions. Original
documents are required, except for the items in the Superannuation and Property sections.
Tax law is complex. Before making investments through your Self-Managed Superannuation Fund (SMSF), make sure to seek independent legal, taxation and financial advice.
