First Home Owner Grant (FHOG) – Are You Eligible?

As a first home buyer in Queensland, you may be eligible for the $30,000 First Home Owner Grant when buying or building a new home valued under $750,000.

To be eligible, you must:

Be at least 18 years old and an Australian citizen or permanent resident
Be buying your first home (you’ve never owned property in Australia before)
Live in the home for at least 6 continuous months within the first 12 months
Purchase a new property under $750,000 (house, townhouse, apartment, etc.)
