Hi, my name is Nicole and I am the owner of our Mortgage Choice St Marys franchise. 

My Father; Des Nation started our Mortgage Choice St Marys franchise back in 1998, I joined the team 4 years later and have worked in all faceats of the business, starting from the bottom and worked my way up, I now own our franchise as my father has retired in 2020. 

I'm passionate about helping my clients achieve their financial goals, whether that be purchasing their first home, starting their investment portfolio or ensuring they are on the best product and interest rate, my motto is that I love helping clients save money - I work for my clients (not the banks!)  

I have personally bought and sold multiple properties and dealt with a multitude of lenders for varied circumstances, this personal experience helps me to relate to my clients and their personal circumstances. But dont take my word for it; Check out some of my happy client reviews! :-)

Further update as at May 2020

Due to the unprecedented COVID-19 situation, I have decided to relinquish my credit licence and have officially retired. I would like to thank the many clients and well wishes that Nicole continues to receive, I wish everyone a safe and prosperous future.

Update as at May 2019:

I have recently made the decision to pass the baton to my daughter Nicole and take a back seat in the business with the view of slowly moving into retirement. Nicole has now officially bought the business from me and is enjoying now bossing me around! :-) I've worked in the industry for almost 50 years and whilst I still enjoy speaking to people about their finances, I believe it's time to start the process into retirement.

Nicole has picked up extensive knowledge whilst working with me over 17 years, I'm sure our loyal clients (and new) will see Nicole has the same desire to help people and willing to go the extra mile to help all she comes in contact with.

In 1998,

My wife & I decided to take the opportunity to purchase our own Mortgage Choice franchise, and a open a shopfront office on Queen Street, St Marys. Prior to this big step in my career, my background has always been in Banking in Finance; having worked for ANZ for almost 25 years and a few years as Mortgage Broker with Aussie Home Loans.

The past 20 years as a Mortgage Choice franchisee has been a truly rewarding journey. Many clients now call me ‘Uncle Des’ which is humbling to hear so many people are grateful for the advice and service I strive to provide to them. I enjoy seeing people come back time and time again and refer their friends and family to me.

On a personal note, in my spare time I enjoy watching the NRL and have supported the Tigers all my life. I also cherish spending time with my wife, 2 daughters and 4 grandkids.
